Lauth Acquires Belleview Tower in Denver Technology Center

DENVER, CO (December 18, 2007) – Lauth today announced the acquisition of Belleview Tower, a 12-story, Class-A office tower at the entryway of the Denver Technology Center (DTC). The company plans to immediately launch a multi-million dollar aggressive renovation plan for the 195,627 SF building.

“Belleview Tower is an outstanding addition to Lauth’s western portfolio,” said Austin Lehr, Western Regional Partner at Lauth. “The building offers a premiere location featuring unparalleled mountain and city views and the shortest walking distance to more amenities than any other Class-A asset in the DTC.” There are high-end retailers, hotels and nearby light rail along with over 20 full service and quick service restaurants right across the street from Belleview Tower.

Lauth, one of the nation’s leading developers, plans to immediately launch a multi-million dollar renovation of Belleview Tower. The renovated building will feature rich granite and woodwork in the main lobby. The company also plans to install state-of-the-art entrance features, elevator finishes, new bathroom finishes, paint, carpet, artwork, and lighting.

“This renovation project will take Belleview Tower to a new level of sophistication,” said Lehr. “Lauth expects Belleview Tower to become one of the most sought after office buildings in the area.”

Belleview Tower is currently 87% leased. It houses 19 tenants including Lauth’s Western Regional Headquarters. Leasing of Belleview Tower is handled by Sergio Castaneda and Mitch Bradley of CB Richard Ellis and David Lanzer of Lauth.

The acquisition of Belleview Tower is the latest recent announcement by Lauth. Last month, the company opened one of the largest green distribution centers in the U.S., a 525,000 sf facility for REI, which was built to LEED Silver specifications. Earlier this year, Lauth’s Denver office celebrated the opening of the Exempla Lutheran Medical Center Southwest in Littleton, Colorado and the 406,959 SF Building C at Aurora Commerce Center. The company is also developing an additional office building in the Southeast suburban submarket, an additional healthcare project, and one retail center in the Denver area.
