Lauth Adds Healthcare Real Estate Executive to Dallas Team

DALLAS, TX (June 09, 2008) – Lauth®, one of the nation’s leading development and construction firms, today announced that healthcare real estate veteran Chris Jackson is joining the company as Vice President of Healthcare Development in the company’s Dallas office.

“Chris Jackson adds years of experience in healthcare development to Lauth’s Dallas office,” said Todd Jensen, Sr. Vice President of Healthcare. “Chris’ track record in the successful development and management of healthcare facilities that benefit physicians and patients fits perfectly with Lauth’s aggressive growth plans in Texas.”

Jackson joins Lauth after working as Regional Development Manager with Hammes Company and Vice President with Trammel Crow Healthcare Services. He holds an MBA from Southern Methodist University Cox School of Business and a BA from The University of Texas in Austin.

He will join Robert Bode, Sr. Director of Office and Industrial Development in Lauth’s Dallas office. The company holds strategic land positions in several Texas markets and is currently developing:

  • Towne Lake Business Park, a two building distribution park totaling nearly 1,000,000 square feet (SF). Towne Lake is located just minutes from DFW International Airport, abuts the new State Highway (SH) 161, and offers quick access to SH 360, SH 183, and Interstate 30.
  • Bryan Towne Center, a Target anchored, 400,000 SF retail center just minutes from Texas A&M University in Bryan/College Station.
  • Whitestone Medical Pavilion, a 65,000 SF Class A Medical office building in Cedar Park.

This marks the latest announcement for Lauth, the 8th largest healthcare developer in the nation according to Modern Healthcare and the 13th largest commercial real estate developer in the US according to Commercial Property News. Last month the company announced plans for Key Logistics Park, a three building distribution hub in Central Pennsylvania totaling nearly 3,000,000 SF and held a media tour of NASCAR® Plaza, a 20-story world class office tower in downtown Charlotte.
