Lauth Breaks Ground on Imperial Point Medical Arts Pavilion

FORT LAUDERDALE, FL (March 29, 2008) – Lauth, one of the nation’s leading development and construction firms, today broke ground on Imperial Point Medical Arts Pavilion, a 68,500 square-foot (SF) Class A medical office building adjacent to Imperial Point Medical Center.

“We are so proud of Imperial Point Medical Center and its superior reputation during the 35 years it has been in this community,” states Calvin E. Glidewell, chief executive officer of IPMC. “This new facility will attract new physicians to our campus and allow us to provide a higher level of care and service to our community.”

Imperial Point Medical Arts Pavilion is being developed in partnership with Broward Health. The site is ideally located on the campus of Imperial Point Medical Center and within ten miles of many Fort Lauderdale medical facilities. The building’s custom designed suites will be tailored to every specialty and will provide superior outpatient care with easy hospital accessibility.

“Lauth is proud to partner with Broward Health on this state-of-the-art medical office facility. As one of the nation’s top healthcare developers, Lauth is always on the lookout for opportunities to build facilities that serve the needs of patients and healthcare providers,” said Scott Dunkle, Director of Healthcare Leasing in Lauth’s Orlando Office. “Lauth believes this location will be very attractive to physician offices and outpatient medical services seeking accessibility to Imperial Point Medical Center.”

This marks the latest announcement for Lauth. Earlier this week the company jumped five positions to be ranked as the 8th largest healthcare developer in the nation according to Modern Healthcare. Last month, the company announced plans to build a 120,000 SF medical office building integrated with the new Western Maryland Regional Medical Center in Cumberland, MD. Earlier this year, the company broke ground on Goodyear Point, a 2.5 million square-foot distribution park outside Phoenix. In May, the company will “top off” NASCAR Plaza, a 20-story world class office tower in downtown Charlotte.
