For the fifth consecutive year, Saks Fifth Avenue has teamed with the St.Vincent Foundation to host the 2011 Key to the Cure fundraising event.

The Key to the Cure fundraising gala will be held within the Saks Fifth Avenue store at the Fashion Mall on Saturday, October 15 at 6:30 p.m., and benefit programs and technology at St.Vincent Cancer Care. Event attendees of the black-tie event will enjoy dinner and dancing, entertainment, a unique fashion show, and a live auction. Entertainment will be provided by Blair and Company, and the fashion show will feature the designs of David Meister.

To date, the Saks Fifth Avenue and St.Vincent Foundation partnership has raised more than $1.8 million for St.Vincent Cancer Care.

This year, Lauth will serve as the Title Sponsor for the 600-person event. “We are very happy to support such a worthy cause,” said Robert Lauth, chairman and CEO at Lauth.

In addition, Trilogy of Event sponsors include: Hall, Render, Killian, Heath & Lyman; Northside Anesthesia Services; and Northwest Radiology Network.

Prior to the Key to the Cure gala, a special reception for top sponsors will be hosted by Forrest and Charlotte Lucas at the Lucas Estate. IndyCar Driver, Danica Patrick, will join sponsors at this 150-person reception.

The event co-chairpersons include: L.H. and Dianne Bayley of David A. Noyes & Company, and Dr. Richard and Kelly Freeman.
