Lauth Wins “Business Oscar” – National “Stevie Award”

INDIANAPOLIS (June 12, 2007) – Lauth joined some of the nation’s leading companies winning a “Stevie Award” during the 2007 American Business Awards this week in New York. Lauth won in the category of Best Corporate Identity/Branding Design. Other well-known national companies honored included Microsoft, Accenture, Verizon, Countrywide Financial, John Hancock, and others. Lauth also joined fellow Indiana winners: Cummins, Delta Faucet Company, and Brightpoint.

Lauth was recognized for its extensive strategic branding project undertaken in 2006 to identify positioning and key drivers in the company’s business sectors. The initiative was lead by Lauth’s Vice President of Marketing, Christina Felts, and the results included a “Branding Booklet” which explains in detail how every associate can support Lauth’s brand in their daily business life; a modernized visual identity; client focused messaging; and a complete redesign of every piece of company marketing material.

“This honor is a testament to the experience and dedication of our great team at Lauth,” said Bob Lauth, Chairman and CEO. “Lauth has grown to become one of the nation’s leading real estate developers and our executives and marketing team recognize the importance of a solid brand, working together and tackling the important challenges a major expansion brings. Over the course of a year, a great deal of work was undertaken to bring the company’s marketing in-line with its current business success. And, we accomplished this task, not in a vacuum, but while the company doubled its business for the third consecutive year.”

Hailed as “the business world’s own Oscars” (New York Post), The American Business Awards are the only national, all-encompassing awards program honoring great performances in business. More than 2,000 entries from companies of all sizes and in virtually every industry were submitted for consideration in more than 40 categories. Lauth also was a finalist for Best Marketing Organization and Best Marketing or Sales Brochure or Kit.
