Nissan Signs Lease with Lauth for Memphis Distribution Center

INDIANAPOLIS – (January 17, 2007) Lauth today announced that Nissan North America will locate a regional distribution facility at Lauth’s Deltapoint Business Center in Memphis.

Nissan will occupy 413,000 square feet, approximately half, of the Deltapoint One building. Deltapoint is the first facility in the Memphis area for Lauth, a national development and construction company.

“We are pleased to partner with Nissan to develop a facility that will serve the company’s needs and provide jobs to many people in the Memphis area for years to come,” said Tag Birge, Midwest Regional Director at Lauth.

Lauth expects other companies to quickly locate in the Deltapoint Business Center. Upon fully leasing Deltapoint One, Lauth intends to break ground on Deltapoint Two, a 493,000 square foot distribution and warehouse facility. Lauth’s master plan eventually calls for four industrial buildings at Deltapoint.

The Nissan distribution center is the latest in a series of announcements by Lauth in recent months. In December the company announced that it will own and develop NASCAR Plaza, a 19-story office tower, in downtown Charlotte. The company announced plans to build The Shoppes at Rivercrest outside of Charlotte and Oakmont Medical Center outside of Austin, Texas. Last week Lauth announced the construction of its newest office building at INTECH Park, the largest office park in Indiana.
